A double bill of Edinburgh comedy previews.

NB: The previously-billed Paul Sinha has had to reschedule his diary for the summer, and isn’t able to take a show to the Edinburgh Fringe this year. Sadly this means he won’t be bringing a preview to Brighton. However, we’ve got a brilliant replacement in the shape of political comedian and impressionist Matt Forde, the presenter of Dave’s satirical talk show Unspun.

MATT FORDE: Brexit, Pursued By a Bear

Join Britain’s leading political comedian as he once again promises his last show as an EU citizen (maybe).

As seen on Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week, The Royal Variety Performance and Question Time.

‘Possibly the best political comedy show on the Fringe’ ***** (Daily Telegraph)
‘Is there a better political comic than Matt Forde currently working in the UK? I can’t think of another to touch him’ ****½ (Chortle)
‘A stand-up of rare skill’ **** (Sunday Times)

Star of Live at the Apollo, Laura Lexx is a ‘bouncy, bubbly stand up star’ (Telegraph) shining a hilarious light on how hard it is to be a good person these days. Can you change the world without offending anyone?

Her sell-out 2018 show Trying was ‘a masterpiece’ ***** (VoiceMag.uk) and earned her a prestigious Comedian’s Choice Award. Now, Lexx takes on society’s big issues… but come for jokes, not answers.

It’s sure to be ‘stomach-achingly funny’ **** (Entertainment-Focus.com) and ‘another skilfully-constructed hour from an underrated performer’ **** (Fest).
