This September we’re opening the Tuck Shop for a very special show. An Audience With Dic & Pussi. Drag ghoul and Drag Barbarian Count Addiction and Oedipussi Rex are not your conventional drag performers and are here to bring you their own deconstruction of gender performance in a scene governed by rules from a popular drag show which may (or now may not be) on Netflix… What exactly does drag mean now anyway?
Addiction grew up fascinated by the grotesque aspects of life and was soon embedded in a world of punk cabaret. Find out a little more about their relationship with gender, punk, cabaret and the grotesque and how it has manifested into a ever evolving drag creature.
More siege weapon than subvertive, Oedipussi aims to take Drag to the uncharted lands of Epically Naff. Drawing influence from stories of old where everyone was surprising camp, this hairy Drag Barbarian is on a quest to find the comedy within the tragic and the ultimate beard. Just don’t ask him about his Mum.
Expect to see the finest in cabaret, queerlesque story telling, live music, questions from the audience and a hell of a lot of costumes.
Doors 7:30pm / Show 8:00pm / Entry £6
