ON THE EDGE: SAM SAVAGE

Welcome to On The Edge comedy, one of Brighton’s longest-running and best-loved monthly comedy nights. Following July’s sensational REBOOT show we are now back to monthly and back to full power!

This month is our ‘WTF is Edinburgh?’ special and we have a fantastic low carbon footprint selection of some of the very best acts the local scene has had to offer in the last decade!

Our headliner is local comedy legend Sam Savage. An Essex girl by birth, Sam made Brighton her home in the noughties and hasn’t looked back. Whether as herself or her brilliant character creation housewife-philosopher Linda Larkin, Sam has been charming and delighting audiences around the country for over a decade.

Opening act is Serbian-gened but Brighton-born-and-raised Alex Petrovic. Alex was South Coast Comedian of the Year Runner-up 2019 and has performed at some of the largest clubs around the UK. In addition to this, he was appeared on Radio 2 and Radio 4 Extra, and has supported solo shows for Sean McLoughlin, Mark Simmons, Brian Gittins, Tom Houghton and Stephen Grant. Alex is also performing at this year’s Victorious special along with the likes of Katherine Ryan and Russell Kane.

Also appearing are Will Hitt (“Brilliantly crafted material delivered with laser confidence.” Russell Kane), Tik-Tok superstar Jack Skipper and Sophia Mainwaring, alongside resident MC Dan Fardell (“One of the best new joke writers I’ve seen in ages” – Romesh Ranganathan)
