ON THE EDGE: CRESSIDA WETTON

Spring is very slowly approaching and we are delighted to welcome this month’s headliner Cressida Wetton! Cressida has appeared on BBC Radio 4 Extra and is from the West Country, but escaped in 2014 and has a unique slant on small town mentality, family life and office politics.

We’re delighted to welcome back our opening act, Australia’s Nick Elleray, himself a multiple-time headliner here at Edge. Nick is an award-winning stand-up who performs regularly at clubs in London and the South-East.

Shortlisted three times for the BBC New Comedy Award, he’s been a finalist in many prestigious comedy competitions including The Natys, One To Watch, Leicester Square New Act of the Year and Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year.

Joining them will be local favourites James Danielewski (cheeky, high energy, fast-paced, tightly written jokes and charming tales), Dawn Williams (beautifully offbeat observations on dating and modern life) and Steph Cassin (brilliant low-energy oddball perspective on her Irish origins), as well as our regular Edge MC Dan Fardell (“Writing with the efficiency of the slickest American comic” – Chortle).
