We are reclaiming Burlesque from its Music Hall roots to bring you an evening of diverse and local talent!

‘Burlando’ in Italian means mocking/making fun of. Like the Comedia dell’Arte, Burlesque has been around for centuries, ridiculing real life situations and characters. In more recent times, we have narrowed it down to a more precise stereotype – that of the striptease, but this is Burlesque in its original form, full-spectrum and satirical, sometimes beautiful, sometimes grotesque, hopefully spectacular.
